A new metallurgical microscope for Kanigen Group

Kanigen Group has equipped its quality lab with a metallurgical microscope to enhance our research and analysis skills. 

This equipment is specially designed for examining metallic materials and other opaque samples at high resolution. It is used primarily in the fields of metallurgy and materials science.

The advantages of this microscope are:

- automatic image optimisation
- 2-dimensional layer thickness calculation

In our case, it will be used mainly to:
- study the morphology of electroless nickel coatings
- visualisation of the uniformity of electroless nickel deposits in complex geometries
- destructive measurements of layer thickness
